Do we take him to the game?

Time to vote!

Before Henry was born, we bought OSU football season tickets, and we bough the Texas game. We bought this unborn baby an outfit for the Texas game, and had our minds set that this baby would see his first football game before he was able to, well, see the football game!

This idea doesn't sound like a slam dunk anymore. We do have a Baby Bjorn, and he digs it ... usually falls asleep or just hangs out for an hour or more. We know that going to a Big Ten game is not an orthodox thing to do with a 2 month old baby, but we're not all that orthodox, anyway.

So, send your comment, your rant, or whatever. Is this so crazy that it just ... might ... work, or is it just crazy Belleview crazy (a.k.a. crazy Children's Services crazy).

Ah, let the child controversies begin!

We vote for Henry to stay home that night, with us as babysitters :)

well, the noise might be quite a shocker to such delicate ears - then what? go home mid-game? Let him tailgate there and then let Bryan and Sarah have him...

As a current parent of young children, I can tell you that baby Henry will not be real happy about the noise associated with the Buckeye's Game. I take Matthew and Emily to baseball games and can tell you that they both have a hard time with the noise whenever an exciting play occurs and the crowd cheers. Since the Indians don't score that much this year that hasn't been much of an issue, but I'm quite sure that the Buckeye Games are much louder with more frequency than the Tribe Games are.

Henry would not be watching much of the game. Rather, he would be looking at your chest, sleeping, crying, or hanging out in the women's restroom with Sarah. Let the little guy watch it from home. A scarring experience at a game could turn him from OSU and to another school. Besides, the Dershaws are supposed to be at the game sans our newborn Nathan.
